SUMMARY:

In the presence of questions made by students about how the contents presented
during a mathematics class are represented in tasks and situations present in their daily
lives, we seek, through the use and creation of comic books and fanzines, the
construction of an educational product that is a link between school mathematics and
the mathematics present in the experiences of these students. The following work aims
to script, create and make comics/fanzine as an unconventional method of telling about
each person's ethnomathematical experiences, with some episode from everyday life in
which they will tell about a situation that shows how mathematics or some art or
technique that they, their family or friends practice and that is present in daily life. . The
research will be carried out in the format of eight meetings with students, at the school
unit school support association integrated public education center 356 Augusto Ruschi
(CIEP 356), which is located in the Grão-Pará complex, Rua Safira S/N. The
methodological perspective is qualitative, phenomenological and exploratory in nature,
classified as action research. Data collection will occur through written records present
in the storyboards made by the students themselves, photographs, the researcher's field
diary and comic magazines and fanzines produced by the students. The records will be
analyzed after the conclusion of each meeting so that changes can be suggested at the
next meeting to improve the final quality of the educational product. The
methodological strategy to be developed and applied with students, in addition to the
relative theoretical framework that we adopted in this research, will support the creation
of teaching material with the instigation of a teaching sequence on various mathematics
contents that should appear during meetings with students. students, with guidelines for
scripting, creating and producing comics/fanzines. The educational product will be
aimed at basic education teachers and provided free of charge in databases across the
country.
