SPACE GEOMETRY: LEARNING THROUGH DIFFERENT TEACHING RESOURCESSpatial geometry; Didactic resources; PreviewThis research aims to analyze the use of teaching resources in the implementation of tasks for the study of Spatial Geometry, as well as, how they can help in the development of geometric thinking. Considering that the visualization ability is the starting point for the teaching and learning process of geometry, we propose didactic support in concrete (geometric solids) and virtual (GeoGebra 3D) manipulative materials, also seeking to work within an interdisciplinary context with Arts and History, we develop activities using geometric arts, to review concepts of Flat Geometry, and activities based on the construction of models, being inspired by the works of Oscar Niemeyer. The present work was developed with students from a 2nd year high school class at Colégio Estadual João Kopke in Engenheiro Paulo de Frontin (RJ), and we observed that the use of models and geometric arts brought meaning to the study of Geometry, which manipulation of geometric solids helped in the development of visualization, as well as, GeoGebra, bringing innovation and encouraging students to learn.
