SUMMARY:

In the panorama of an accessible and inclusive society for students with the most diverse Special Educational Needs, there is a need to think about proposals that aim at a truly inclusive education. In this scenario, the inclusion of deaf students in regular schools requires greater attention from teachers, in relation to the indispensability of using communication based on Brazilian Sign Language and with the aid of visual elements. Without communication being carried out correctly, students with these characteristics can be compromised in learning topics that can form them as critical individuals in relation to the world around them. In order to discuss the difficulties of teaching science, specifically Physics, for deaf students, considering the resources available for this, this dissertation will focus on the evaluation of the energy theme. Along the way, a review of national and international documents will be presented to support the approach to this theme, a bibliographical survey to understand the current panorama in which the work is inserted, and a survey of the existing signs of the mentioned quantity. At the end, as a result of the discussion held here, a video will be available with a class on the topic “Wind Energy” and written material as a way to help  students (deaf and hearing), teachers and LIBRAS interpreters.
