SUMMARY:

The historical distancing of school subjects in Basic Education System, and a consequential spread of verticalization in teaching, have been producing a demand in the school environment for na expansion of interdisciplinary dialogue, aiming at a transdisciplinary approach. The objective of this study is that of analyzing the contribution to the teaching-learning process of activities that approach the scientific language and literary language organized in a notebook of activities entitled ‘Biology and Poetry in the same notebook’, from the perspective of teachers from various areas of knowledge in high school. This teaching material is based on the concept of discourse genres of Mikhail Bakhtin (2016), the study of the relationship between thought and language of Vygotsky (2020), the reflections on the meaning and meaning in learning of Cesar Coll (1994), the concepts of Silvio Zamboni (2006) on a parallel between art and science, Silvio Gallo (2008) and Edgard Morin (2001) on knowledge and inter/ transdisciplinarity. This research is organized from a theoretical and methodological perspective of qualitative nature considering the possibility of gathering dataobtained from the relationship established between the researcher, the research subjects (high school teachers) and the object of study. The notebook was presented to the six teachers, named here, 'collectors' and the questionnaire sent through Google Forms for the analysis of the product Biology and Poetry in the Same Notebook. This questionnaire included, in the first section, questions about the profile of the 'collectors' and, in the second section, about the methodological and theoretical nature of the proposed activities. Later, through the analysis of the obtained answers, the raised hypotheses about the importance of interand trans-disciplinarity in teaching-learning process was confirmed and reiterated the understanding of the problem, proposed initially: the contribution of the scientific language's approach to literary language, for a better understanding of scientific concepts.
