SUMMARY:

Covid 19 is a viral infection that has spread synchronously throughout various parts of the world and determined significant sociocultural and economic change that has also restructured the formal teaching and learning processes. The paralyzing of face-to-face school activities and the adoption of the remote work system were part of a set of social distancing measures aimed at containing the pandemic. In this scenario, we highlight the broad use of digital information and communication technologies (TDICs) via social networks, educational applications and digital platforms. In addition, health issues have become popular, in the face of denialist ideas and dissemination of faknews, determinants for decision-making and general awareness. The narrative of the pandemic came to occupy the center of attention and brought about new ways of teaching and learning about health in the digital environment. The intention of this research is to investigate how science and biology teachers of the state public network of the municipality of Barra Mansa are articulating their pedagogical teaching-learning practices to Digital Information and Communication Technologies (TDIC) with a focus on health education during the pandemic period. Thus, the present study adopts a qualitative methodological approach through exploratory research of documentary data (decrees, laws, ordinances, resolutions issued by the Secretaria de Estado da Educação - SEEDUC-RJ) and analysis of teachers' narratives. The expected results are the verification of the potentialities and methodological adaptations in view of the use of TDICs and the methodological adaptations made in teaching practices around the theme health education.
