RESUMO:

This work presents a proposal to approach the topic of Radioactivity in High School, looking for a meaningful learning. In order to do so, we explore examples of technological applications of Radioactivity so as to show the student how this subject is present in his reality. An action research of qualitative type is carried out here, with the purpose of constructing a didactic sequence as product. This sequence will be improved throughout the process through the observation and collection of results of questionnaires applied to teachers and students and the application of a preliminary material proposed.
