ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION IN BIOLOGICAL SCIENCES 
GRADUATION AT THE FEDERAL UNIVERSITIES OF SOUTHEASTERN BRAZIL.

The objective of this research is to understand how Environmental Education occurs in the curricula of Licentiate Graduation in Biological Sciences at Federal Universities in Southeast Brazil. The methodological bias used will consist of a documental analysis that will encompass the syllabuses of the courses and the Political Course Projects (PPC). The documents will be investigated based on Discursive Textual Analysis. In addition, the analysis will include interviews with course coordinators, seeking to understand how the curricula and PPCs were structured in relation to Environmental Education. The second part of the methodology will comprise the application of questionnaires to trainees and graduates, with up to five years of completion, to evaluate the students' experiences and understand whether the approach they received in Environmental Education was satisfactory for these individuals or if they consider that their initial training proved to be deficient. The work also proposes the creation of an educational product that will be a website for the teacher with proposals for activities linked to Critical Environmental Education, which encompass the three thematic units of the BNCC: Life and Evolution, Matter and Energy and Earth and Universe.
