We investigate how Online Educational Curriculum Materials (MCEO), produced by the Group of Studies and Researches of Information and Communication Technologies in Mathematics Education (GEPETICEM), can constitute formative strategies and, thus, contribute to the continued formation of teachers. It is a study that uses the research-training approach with the MCEO as an integral material of a set of training activities in an extension course titled "Educational Materials for Learning Mathematics Online" with a group of mathematics teachers from the Secretariat of State of Education of Rio de Janeiro (SEEDUC / RJ) to know and analyze such activities. The constitution of the project-training had the use and analysis of MCEO of Gepeticem as a guideline in all its activities. The participation of the teachers was voluntary and the extension course had face-to-face meetings at CIEP 111 Gelson Freitas, located in the municipality of Mesquita (RJ), articulated to virtual meetings in a group on Facebook. In face-to-face meetings the data were collected through video recording and field diary of the researcher, and online, analysis of comment posts and the production of activities in meetings on Facebook. The results show that the formative dynamics (online and face-to-face) can constitute a possibility for the professional development of primary education teachers. It is also worth noting that we identified evidence of teacher learning resulting from the data obtained in the short term extension course with teachers who teach mathematics by reflecting the MCEO and the teaching practice itself in a dialogical environment of cooperation and collaboration of pedagogical knowledge. As a product, research generates a proposal for the training of teachers who teach mathematics who work in Basic Education and have the MCEO as training activities in order to contribute to professional development through reflections that allow the use of innovative practices.
