The research analyzes the impact of gamification strategies in teaching Geography to 6th grade elementary school classes, in which two schools located in the city of Rio de Janeiro were selected: one private and one public. In this sense, the methodology used was the application of analog games such as Uno adapted to Geography, as well as virtual reality activities via Wander and Fly applications in both schools. The proposal is to analyze the engagement and academic performance of students in both gamification aspects
