RESUMO:

The ARIE Floresta da Cicuta stands as a remnant in the Atlantic biome forest and can also correspond to a real shelter of wildlife, among the urban expansion in conurbation cities between Volta Redonda, Barra Mansa, towns in the state of Rio de Janeiro. We have been tying to understand the interests in environmental management of ARIE Floresta da Cicuta which spoils from CSN company, by means of tension, challenges, strategies and approaches involved in building a sustainable development. Sustainability, in the way of business management, which gives an aggressive, rational, strategic and also an intentional logic to legitimize the territorial control.
