RESUMO:

The objective is to investigate the urban transformations carried out in the Port Zone of Rio de Janeiro and its relation to informal work, that is, to discuss the urban reform carried out in the area for the "mega events" and the attempt to "revitalize" Porto and to discover how the informal work, especially that done in the street, by ambivalent sellers and artists, responded to the transformations.
