Developments in the territorialization of educational public policies: the case of the municipal education Plan of Belford Roxo.

In recent years, the debate on educational public policies has been playing a major role in the Brazilian academic scenario, due to the implementation of actions carried out by different political-institutional spheres that directly influence the socio-spatial management and organization of education. From this perspective, from the guidelines of the National Education Plan (2014-2024), the municipal sphere takes greater responsibility in the planning of its educational policies. In this way, it is intended from this exploratory investigation, to promote a reflection on the processes of elaboration and execution of the Municipal Plan of Education of Belford Roxo - RJ, seeking to identify the challenges and vicissitudes that involve the implementation of such a political instrument in two schools in the district of Jardim Redentor. To achieve this, in order to obtain a broader understanding of the studied reality, as a methodological course a case study of a descriptive character was carried out based on a qualitaiquantitative interpretation, based on the collection of data and documentary analyzes, on the bibliographic theme and the making of field trips and semi-structured interviews with the Belford Roxo Municipal Department of Education and the school community of the public educational units explored in the research.
