Physical Geography Laboratory, Activies Metodologies and abilities.
Some specialists emphasize that the way of teaching – at the most brazilian schools – needs to be reword because the teaching can’t be focused at the content transmition by teachers. The simple memorization about ideas and concepts - from students – it’s not capable of generatin meaningful learnings and to educate for life. Although the expositive classes have their importance, at especific times of building learnings, it’s necessary to apply others metodologies – especially at classrooms but also at others learning spaces. It’s defended that activies metodologies and socioemotionals abilities can be able to generate significant learning because they put the sudents at the middle of theirs learning processes. That activies metodologies and abilities promote possibilities of knowledge building from the irreplaceble teacher’s mediation, but to come from students, as protagonists of theirs leranings. The main objective of this work is analize how the activies metodologies and the development of competences can help at the teaching-leraning of physical geography process, since GAIA Laboratory, from Escola Sesc de Ensino Médio Highschool. The specific objectives are: improve the development of cognitives and socioemotionals competences in the geography learning, in each activity vinculated at GAIA Laboratory; It’s development physical geography activities since activities metodologies and to stimulate the student’s autonomy doing some geography physical experiences. The metodology is based on: academic researches about the theme, it’s planned to apply forms and the interpretation of researches produzed by students of this institucion. The coletive bulding of the laboratory is a parto of the metodology elected. Interviews with teachers will be done. As a parcial result, it’s important to highlight the inauguration of the GAIA Laboratory through activies metodologies of learning.
