The previous experience with a pedagogical activity of spoken maps of the home-school route made in 2014 to investigate the environmental perception about the space lived by students and students of EM Fazenda Alpina, located in Santa Rita, 2nd district of the city of Teresópolis (RJ) and local very affected by the mega-disaster in the mountainous region of the state of Rio de Janeiro in 2011, it showed feelings of fear and non-belonging in relation to the place, pointing out the importance of further investigations on environmental perception in school communities inserted in the context of risk in Teresópolis. The objective of this work is evaluate the environmental perceptions of education professionals in municipal schools, in addition to identifying how themes related to extreme rains, water and environmental risk are treated in the perspective of territory management and by teachers from their teaching behaviours, i. e. their ways of thinking and acting in the classroom, as these can be conditioned by their environmental experiences.
