THE (RE) CREATION OF INEQUALITIES IN THE WORKERS 'SPACE FROM THE "MINHA CASA MINHA VIDA" PROGRAM IN THE COUNTY OF NOVA IGUAÇU-RJ
Housing policy; Inequality; Home; Peripheral space
As for the needs of the dwelling, especially in the spaces considered as peripheral, we strive to understand the housing challenges faced by the worker in the space that, historically, was destined as his shelter - Nova Iguaçu-RJ. This research has as main objective to understand the (re) creation of inequalities from housing policies in the space destined to the poor workers. It has as its first specific goal, to understand the dynamics that contributed to Nova Iguaçu-RJ being constituted as a space of the worker; second, to understand the production of housing and the agents involved in the implementation of PMCMV in the city; third, we seek to identify issues inherent in the right to decent housing for the worker; the fourth goal, and last, to elucidate the inequalities that were(re) created in the workers’ space and that are part of daily life. The methodological development of the research will be based on a theoretical survey on the subject, historical sources of Nova Iguaçu-RJ, data analysis, fieldwork on the central axis of the sets and semi-structured interviews with the agents that are part of this relationship, thus contributing to the "peripheral" housing debate.
