This dissertation was developed during the master's degree program in Geological Modeling and Evolution (PPGMEG) at the Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRRJ). The dissertation project was linked to the research line Modeling of Petrological Processes and was financially supported by the research project “Pre-Salt II: Impact of tectonostratigraphic controls on the quality and distribution of reservoirs in the Pre-Salt interval of the Santos Basin” developed at the Sedimentary Geology Laboratory (LAGESED) of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ), sponsored by the company Shell, with the COOPETEC Foundation as the partner. The general theme of the dissertation project is the magmatic petrology of the Pre-Salt sequence of the Santos Basin.
