Inventory of Assessment Practices: A Study in the School Network of Volta Redonda, Rio de Janeiro.
Educational assessment; Physical Education; assessment practices
The objective is to propose an inventory of formative assessment practices in School Physical Education, focusing on 6th-grade classes in a municipal school in Volta Redonda. The study arises from the need to address the challenges of assessment in School Physical Education, especially considering formative assessment, in which the teaching–learning process is emphasized, processes are continuously observed and analyzed, and what is identified is not limited merely to assigning a grade or concept. As a product of the master’s program, a formative guide for teachers will be developed, encouraging the construction of more contextualized and meaningful assessment processes.
