SUMMARY:

This dissertation investigated the didactic planning of pedagogical encounters between Physical Education and Early Childhood Education, focusing on children's participation in this process. Grounded in the Sociology of Childhood, the study recognized children as active subjects, proposing a pedagogical practice built in co-authorship. The research aimed to develop a proposal for planning Physical Education encounters that contemplated listening to and involving children. This is a qualitative research study, developed from the perspective of an existential action research approach, conducted with a Pre-II class in a municipal school in Rio de Janeiro. Data analysis followed a descriptive-interpretative approach, articulating the Sociology of Childhood, the Pedagogy of Childhood, and the Indiciary Paradigm with the records of children's narratives. The results showed that the children actively participated in the planning process, reconfiguring the pedagogical proposals, expanding the meanings attributed to bodily practices, and challenging the adult-centric logic present in the organization of the encounters. It was concluded that planning developed with the children proved to be a possible and powerful process when aligned with perspectives that value the child. As an educational resource, a Pedagogical Itinerary was created based on the children's contributions during the experiences.
