SUMMARY:

This study aims to analyze how Physical Education can contribute to the appreciation of ethnic-racial relations through a pedagogical intervention based on street basketball with students in the final years of Elementary Education. The research adopts a qualitative, exploratory, and intervention-based approach, connecting sport, street culture, and Ethnic-Racial Education. The intervention was developed through a didactic sequence composed of workshops integrating 3x3 street basketball, hip hop culture, Black identity, and reflections on belonging and cultural diversity. The study was conducted at Dr. Sócrates Olympic Experimental Gymnasium in Rio de Janeiro, and resulted in the development of an educational e-book designed to support teachers in implementing anti-racist pedagogical practices.
