ETHNIC-RACIAL RELATIONS IN SCHOOL PHYSICAL EDUCATION: Teaching Possibilities

The main objective of this study is to propose a socio-pedagogical intervention for Physical Education at School (EFE), relating Afro-Brazilian Civilizing Values, Adinkra symbols and Education for Ethnic-racial Relations. This is a descriptive research, with a qualitative approach, in the form of action research. This is a descriptive research, with a qualitative approach, in the form of action research Participants will be sixth grade students, final years, from a public school located in the municipality of Paraíba do Sul, located in the Vale do Café region of Rio de Janeiro. Two questionnaires will be used, one sociodemographic and the other with questions related to the proposed intervention, in addition to the field diary that will be used as a record of each moment, from the perspective of the research teacher. The qualitative analysis of the data will be carried out using Bardin's content analysis proposal (2011), organized into three stages: pre-analysis; exploration of the material and treatment, inference and interpretation. It is expected to contribute to racial literacy in a way that values Afro-Brazilian identities and representations, strengthening social bonds and belonging, as well as minimizing disrespectful social treatment regarding negative body adjectives, in the school environment among students.
