SUMMARY:

This research seeks to describe the theoretical-practical update of a didactic-methodological proposal for problematizing contemporary themes, within the scope of School Physical Education, called Transversal Games (JT). When approaching, theoretically of the "Pedagogia Freiriana", reflections and transformations arise at the heart of the proposal and have a direct impact on its practice. Providing students with more voice, empowerment and centrality in the teaching-learning process was one of the changes brought about by this approach. As a methodological path, six contemporary themes (ethics and citizenship; health; environment; multiculturalism; economy and work; science and technology) will be problematized, in accordance with the Transversal Games approach, in School Physical Education classes, in a class of the 4th year of Elementary School. In each class, a topic will be discussed. The recreation of the JT, by the students, is an important moment in the process. The field diary will be used as a resource to record the experiences that occurred. It is hoped that this experience can bring more clarifications to consolidate a proposal that can be useful for other educators.
