This research analyzed the continuing education of Physical Education teachers from the 8th Regional Education Coordination (CRE) of Rio de Janeiro, with the purpose of diagnosing the materiality of the formative process in light of the requirements of the National Common Curricular Base (BNCC) and the Carioca Curriculum in the post-pandemic context. The study adopted a mixed-methods approach (quantitative-qualitative) with a descriptive character, involving 26 teachers working in early elementary education, whose data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using descriptive statistics and content analysis. The results revealed a systemic fracture between the prescribed curriculum and school reality, evidenced by the low adherence to official institutional training, as the majority of teachers did not participate in the methodological training offered by the network in the recent period. In contrast to this institutional inertia, the data indicated that teachers exercise a pragmatic autonomy, predominantly resorting to digital media and autonomous searches to meet their practical demands. Although continuing education is perceived as a vector for pedagogical updating, the triangulation of evidence denounced a widespread feeling of isolation and devaluation, marked by the absence of collective work instances. As an interventive response to this scenario of fragmentation and solitary resilience, the study conceived the educational resource "The School Floor: Teachers' Voices", a podcast in nine episodes focused on sharing experiential knowledge among peers, aiming to break bureaucratic isolation and strengthen teacher authorship in interpreting the real curriculum.
