RESUMO:

This research focuses on the process of construction that the Brazilian State makes of the victims of the dictatorship that devastated the country from 1964 to 1988. The proposal is to analyze who were the victims of the dictatorship and the transformations that occurred around this category on the part of the State over time. It is, therefore, to perceive how the State is positioned around the construction of those who were hit by the violence of the dictatorship in different contexts.
