The enphasis on “Deviation and Directions” on the higher instance of the Party, with a start in the back of its communist leaders from exile, a return in the context of the redemocratization.
A study of the beginning of a new leadership group starting from the internal dispute of the Central Committee. Analyzing the exhaustion of an ancient leadership group, attached to Prestes, the internal struggles and confrontations with the opposite extreme, nucleated by the "renovators", a sympathetic sector to the proposals of what was agreed to be called Eurocommunism; and, as a political center, it overcame its internal adversaries and consolidated itself as a new hegemonic and leading sector within the Central Committee, guaranteeing a monopoly on political formulations.
