SUMMARY:

The Anton Dworsak Municipal School constitutes the research object of this research proposal. Researching the Anton Dworsak Municipal School is to recognize the historiographic importance of a school that was built from the need for a community and has become an established reality to this day. It arose from the need to educate neighborhood infants and the work of the local community led by the man who would become their patron. In this research, we intend to investigate the process of creation and institutionalization of the Anton Dworsak Municipal School. In a bibliographical, historical and oral research perspective, having as object of study the school unit itself in its relations with the municipal bodies responsible for its management and the local community of Bairro de Jardim Primavera in the city of Duque de Caxias. In order to achieve this objective, this research intends to gather data and analyze the history of the school's institutionalization since the beginning of its creation.
