SUMMARY:

In this study, I propose to analyze the gender performances of black queers in the city of Rio de Janeiro who are part of a black LGBTQI+ collective called "Is it a boy or a girl?", pointing to the narrated experiences, the knowledge and the shared trajectories. I seek to reflect on the experiences of these subjects in the context of schooling, drawing attention to issues of gender and sexuality. When considering that the straight-white male norm exerts a colonizing effect on other subjectivities, how can we foster a discussion that directs this research to narrative performances? The research is based on the ethnographic perspective, Clifford (1998). To construct the data, I conduct observation of a focus group and record a field diary (Zaccarelli and Godoy 2010). I turn to the focus group in this paper, scrutinizing the accounts of the experiences, which, therefore, are used in similar studies on subjectivity and subjectivity. The field diary, besides the records and reports, is also an exposition and manifestation of the subjectivity that can be built in this process. In the first chapter, I point to black queer as a political identity, rescuing the social construction of black homosexuality. In the second moment, I will present the beginning, the middle, and the continuous process of creation and actions that give life to the collective. In the second chapter I will cover issues related to sexual education in formal and non-formal education, pointing to the implementation of actions that promote political and social environments favorable to the guarantee of human rights and respectability of sexual orientations and gender identities. Thus, it is hoped that the results of this research can serve as a basis for similar studies with even more creative ways of analyzing the issues that involve gender performances in an educational context.
