The public policy of the New Secondary Education and school Physical Education: sociocultural advancement or regression?

The dissertation in progress aims to understand which paradigm(s) were used in the construction of public policy that materialized as a new curriculum for school Physical Education in high school, in interface with the reform of high school and with the production of textbooks for the area. More specifically: it intends to examine the possible paradigm(s) used in the preparation of the BNCC; Analyze the possible consequences of the secondary education reform for school Physical Education within the paradigm that supports the creation of the BNCC; and Investigate the likely influences of the paradigms found in public educational policies (BNCC and NEM) with the inclusion of Physical Education in the PNLD. To this end, a conciliation between Documentary and Bibliographic Research methods is adopted as a form of data production, coming from the official documents that generated the BNCC and the secondary education reform, as well as academic literature published in scientific articles on the subject. of the textbook in Physical Education.
