This composition presents part of an ongoing research. The first strands of this text are articulated with the research project Education of ethnic-racial relations in digital culture developed by the Laboratory of multimedia studies and readings: ethnic-racial relations in digital culture (LEAM) at the Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro. The central project proposes, roughly, a study of ethnic-racial relations in digital culture in order to understand the resistance to the implementation of Law 10.639 / 03. The goals outlined in this project seek to produce with ICTs possibilities for the promotion of antiracist education and more democratic teacher training. This is because, by not forming and educating ourselves for differences, we begin by denying our origins, our history, our appearance. The naturalization of the Brazilian racist mentality makes the Afrodescendants of fair skin do not suffer what the black ones suffer. The thread that I take to walk with this research is in the experimentation and study of the educational possibilities of Síncopa-TV, a WebTV developed by LEAM. The focus of this study is on the expansion of other practices, of the movements necessary for the construction of an antiracist education; from the articulation between the transformations generated by the media and their languages. So, I propose to think about the contribution of the audiovisual language to an anti-racist education? To answer this question, I look for inspiration in the Cartography Method, systematized by Virginia Kastrup, Eduardo Passos and Liliana da Escóssia, and I follow the clues that arise during the process of creation and development of Síncopa-TV in order to produce other paths that reflect the experiences of this study on the powers of the audiovisual in the education of ethnic-racial relations and what their unfolding allows us to think. This research seeks in the audiovisual language experienced in Síncopa-TV to produce conditions to confront the unrest of the production of racism in our society, which are often established as obstacles in Education.
