Thisqualificationtextaimstopresentthepartialresultsoftheresearch, as well as the work plan of the Master, toinvestigatetheproductionofacademicworksonwhathasbeenproducedacademicallyontheteachingofmusicandthe legal demandpertinenttoethnic- racial relations in education, demandedbyLaws 10.639and 11.645. In relationtothemethodological procedures, theresearchintendstocarry out a survey in the Sucupira Platform, themainrepositoryofacademicworksofpostgraduatecourses, withtheobjectiveofinvestigatingthenumberofdissertationsandthesesontheproposedtheme. The researchmethodologywillconsistof a StateoftheArtbibliographicsurvey. The analysisconsidersthattheprejudiceabout non-Europeanknowledgematrices, removes the look ofmusicteachers for musical practicesand classes thatcontemplatethehistoryandculture, especiallyAfro-Brazilian, whichisthefocusofthisresearch. The data collectedwillbeanalyzedconsideringtheacademicproductiononthetheme, finalizing in a proposalof a program for theteachingofmusic, basedonAfroperspectivity.
