"PSYCHOACTIVE PEDAGOGY: Strategies for enhancement of cognition by the educator environment"
Environmental education; other epistemologies; decolonial pedagogy
It is part of the study of a community that follows the cult of Santo Daime, with a significant generation of young people who, created by urban families and who therefore share an alternative educational model, need to interact with the traditional urban model of education -industrial. Faced with this interesting contemporary epistemological interaction, the present study was based on a focus group of 12 young people between the ages of 9 and 30, all of them children of daimist families integrated in the traditional education system, from elementary to post-graduate education. Mediated by generative questions that aimed to identify the strategies of interaction between daimist education received from the family and traditional education from schools and universities, the group's dialogue was filmed and the analysis of their expressions enabled the inference of the limits and possibilities of contemporary contact between official epistemology, colonizing, and alternative, decolonizing epistemology.
