RESUMO:

Technologies change our ways of thinking and acting. Digital technologies with touch screens provide cognitive and epistemological transformations in the training environment, particularly in Mathematics Education. Recognizing touchscreen manipulations as embodied and multimodal action can contribute to the learner's conceptual construction process. The tablet is not tied to the conception of technological fetish, that is, the use by the use. This research has as a question "What contributions touches on tablets screens can bring to the student learning of isometries in high school?". Uniquely, we have as objectives: to elaborate and implement a sequence of isometry tasks in GeoGebra; analyze particularities of touches on screens in the process of learning isometries; and illustrate a process of reworking the isometry task, describing the design of task 4 and proposing a set of isometry tasks. Arrogating features of a design research, the study is guided by the following questions: (i) How do students perform touches on screens doing reflection, translation and rotation in GeoGebra on tablets? and (ii) How can the touches on screens help in the elaboration and resolution of isometry tasks? In order to do so, we used as data collection tools (a) researcher's records, (b) student records for proposed activities, (c) icon sheet, (d) audio and video recordings, and ) recording the ring tones and traces made on the tablet screen using the DU Recorder. The research is being conducted in loco with students of the 1st Year of High School Teachers Training course, a School Unit of the State Network of Rio de Janeiro. Based on conceptions of semiotics, neuroscience studies, research on embodied cognition and Vygotskian school, this research points to the elaboration of a strategy composing resources made available by the device and a combination of manipulations. It also reveals that moments of setting are important for (re) elaboration of a sequence of tasks.
