Inclusive education, AleThe dimensions of the role of the Legislative Assembly of the State of Rio de Janeiro, Alerj, for the promotion of inclusive practices for students with special educational needs, in Basic Education, after the approval of the National Policy of Special Education, in the Education Perspective Inclusive, in 2008, until 2018, it is the object and the period of time to be considered in this research. In Brazil, there are defined laws for the inclusion of students with special needs in regular classes. Inclusive Education is a philosophy that gained strength internationally in the 90s, and that, since then, had its ideas pulverized in the West, with the signing of agreements such as the World Declaration on Education for All, in Jomtien, in Thailand, in 1990, and the Salamanca Declaration, in Spain, in 1994. These conferences inspired laws, policies, ordinances, decrees, legal provisions, in Brazil. But for legislative letters to get off the ground and stop being a pretty answer for the represented minorities, it is necessary to consider the action of social control. In Sociology, "Social Control" means the action of society on the management of the state. In this research, we will analyze how social control, practiced in public hearings of the Education Commission of Alerj, has been practiced and what benefits it has been representing in the educational practices of Inclusive Education – access, permanence and learning of students with special educational needs, together to the other students of the school. To defend contact with diversity is to understand that it increases our existential repertoires and that only in this way can we move forward in the evolution of the potential of what it is to be human. Therefore, following the motto of the methodological framework of Critical Theory, which will be used in this study, this research contemplates analyzing the object of study, denying what is not satisfactory and proposing changes, so that the public hearings of the Education Commission of Alerj make more productive environments. Thus, the present work aims to strengthen the democratic process and humanization in the territory of the Fluminense legislature.rj, Democracy
