BLACK CULTURE RESEARCH INSTITUTE: A LIVING AND EDUCATOR ORGANISM
IPCN, Black Movement, Women
The present work proposes to dialogue about the black movement and the Black Culture Research Institute. Understanding that the IPCN was a counter for groups and movements that were created during the institute's active period. We used for the development of the research semi-structured interviews with former members and presidents who passed through that space. We also dialogued all the work with the formation of the black movement and social groups that were consolidated in Rio de Janeiro. In view of this, our main objective is to describe the IPCN and the black movement from the perspective of interlocutors who were part of it from the founding of the institute to its consolidation, permeating this movement through social intersections such as Race, Gender and society. Given this, the work seeks to describe the importance of the IPCN in society, social movements and also in education, especially in academia.
