SUMMARY:

Considering that a fact reported in a newspaper does not correspond to its real occurrence in the world once it is discursive, different points of view commonly occur in this passage from fact to news. This is an interesting situation for teaching Portuguese, as it allows the construction of a learning framework in which the teacher can encourage his students to reflect on the motivations of such cases, analyze the texts and try to understand certain strategies employed and the possible meanings proposed there. In this way, the work proposal of this dissertation is to build notebooks of reading activities directed to Elementary School from news from different newspapers about the same fact and that contain different points of view about the referred fact. The theoretical basis of the study includes contributions from textual linguistics and media communication studies.
