Developing Reading Comprehension of Multisemiotic Texts with Elementary School II Students

This project aims to research, analyze and propose a reading methodology for multisemiotic texts. In its introduction, what motivated the research will be discussed, the theorists on which it is based, its objectives and the problem that generated it. In the second section, the theoretical-methodological foundation will be presented, which is based on the relationship between existential-phenomenology and reading, in Mikhail Bakhtin's ideas about language, dialogism and textual genres and in the concepts of multiliteracies. In the third section, we will talk about multisemiotic texts and the digital era, in the fourth section, we will address the concepts of reading, multiliteracies and understanding, and also a reading proposal to work with teaching students fundamental II, the fifth section contains the research schedule and the sixth section seeks to demonstrate that reading comprehension should be the focus of reading work developed in schools and that multisemiotic reading has great importance in the formation of the intersubjectivity of subject-readers.
