RESUMO:

Based on the theoretical assumptions of Variationist Sociolinguistics and on the application of the continuums of linguistic variation proposed by Bortoni-Ricardo (2004), the work is inscribed as an action research that seeks to develop a pedagogical mediation with the phenomenon of filling / erasing the subject of a reference defined in texts of students of the 6th year of the EF, in order to achieve an improvement of the teaching of the Portuguese language and to favor the literacy of the students.
