The present research, developed within the scope of the Professional Master in Literature of the UFRRJ, aims to construct a didactic proposal of reading and textual production that aims to articulate the textual genres news and letter of the reader. The study was carried out with seventh-year primary school students of the Seropédica municipal education network. In this proposal, the news is the gender-base in the activity of reading, since the reader's letter is the one to be produced in articulation with the first. The news items that make up didactic activities are taken from a local newspaper, and students are encouraged to take critical readings of the news stories and then produce the reader's letters. With this, we aim to broaden the repertoire of reading and writing language skills, as well as to encourage the critical participation of students in the life of their community. The research is based theoretically on the concept of textual genre, from the perspective of Marcuschi (2008), it is based on the importance of the news and letters of the reader in times of modernization of the internet, starting from Alves Filho (2011) and Van Dijk (1988). As the study is cut by the concepts of fact and opinion in these genres, the concepts of Kerbrat-Orecchioni (1993) on adjectives and their functions in the opinative and argumentative texts are also detailed. Because it is a pedagogical research concerned with the relation between language and discourse, the references of the Semiolinguistic Theory, based on Charaudeau (2016), are also adopted. Finally, the mediation of pedagogical proposals is based on the didactic sequence work elaborated by Dolz, Noverraz and Schneuwly (2004).
