STEEL PAWNS IN THE YEARS OF LEAD: A CIRCUIT OF SENSITIVE THEMES FROM A TORTURED HISTORY CLASS IN SOUTH FLUMINENSE

This Project aims to approach History teaching through sensitive themes of a living past of the Civil-Military Dictatorship in the South of the state of Rio de Janeiro among denialisms of civil rights violations, proposing reflexions about how to teach the History of a recent and alive past surrounded by denialist speeches created among young students disconnected of the memory of the South of the state region. This region is marked by civil rights violations and many kinds resistances silenced by the denialist tendency of memory in the dispute of narrative production.
