Neurosciences and Learning Disorders: Repercussions and Interventional Resources During the Covid-19 Pandemic

Dyslexia is considered a neurobiological-based specific learning disorder, characterized by difficulties in accurate and/or fluent word recognition, decoding, and spelling skills. Study I presents a systematic review on intervention processes using computerized technologies in children with Dyslexia and other learning difficulties, published within the last 10 years and available in databases including the Scientific Electronic Library Online (SciELO), Electronic Journals in Psychology (PePSIC-BVS), American Psychological Association (APA), Education Resources Information Center (ERIC), and Medical Literature Analysis and Retrieval System Online (Medline/PubMed). Following the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) methodology, 13 articles were selected and analyzed based on inclusion/exclusion criteria. The results indicated that software programs used in interventions for learning disorders can be beneficial for both typically developing and atypically developing children and adolescents. Study II focused on analyzing the use of technological resources in education during the Covid-19 pandemic in the states of Maranhão and Rio de Janeiro.The results suggested that the technological resources employed in both remote and inperson teaching were capable of contributing satisfactorily to student learning.
