RESUMO:

Social representation seeks to analyze the knowledge of groups through the relationship of concepts between subject and object, and to analyze whether their beliefs, objects and thoughts are common sense. This study aims to investigate the social representation of judo in practitioners of the sport. Being its instrument used a questionnaire formed by open and closed questions associated with a question of free evocation of words. Sport is an excellent social integration tool that can positively impact the lives of its practitioners who live in socially vulnerable situations. Judo is a differentiated struggle for its Japanese traditions and its moral and philosophical principles. Thus, the study seeks to understand the social representations of judo students in social projects.
