UNADAPTIVE INITIAL SCHEMES AND SCHEMATIC MODES IN WOMEN VICTIMS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE.
domestic violence against women, initial maladaptive schemes and schematic modes.Violence against women occurs in all social classes and in all age groups. Presenting itself in different ways and in itself a structuring factor of gender inequalities. For a long time this type of violence was protected by principles of inviolability of private life, it was through feminist movements that the theme gained public and collective dimension. An important milestone in Brazil was the Maria da Penha Law (Law 11.340 of 7 August 2006), according to which Article 5 defines domestic and family violence against women as “any action or omission based on gender that causes death , injury, physical, sexual or psychological suffering and moral or patrimonial damage ”in the context of domestic unity, family or any intimate relationship of affection, in which the aggressor lives or has lived with the victim, regardless of cohabitation. The data on domestic violence in our society are alarming and with the advent of social isolation due to the pandemic by the new Corona virus, the rates have worsened even more. In this context, many women in situations of violence were removed from their support network and forced to stay at home with their aggressor. Therefore, this research seeks to understand the phenomenon of domestic violence against women based on the Theory of the Scheme by Jeffrey E. Young and his concepts on Initial Maladaptive Schemes and Schematic Modes. In this conception, the initial experiences with our caregivers and other representative figures of development will influence our future relationships, they will be models for new relationships. Thus, this study has as main objective, the survey of maladaptive initial schemes and schematic modes in a sample of women victims of domestic violence. The research will have a quantitative-qualitative approach. The instruments used will be the Scheme Questionnaire, the Schematic Modes Inventory and the standard open interview. Qualitative data will be analyzed using Bardin's content analysis theory. This study also aims to develop psychoeducational material on domestic violence directed at women.
