SUMMARY:

This research project aims to analyze the processes of subjectivation in the lives of women in the Baixada Fluminense of Rio de Janeiro. It is intended to understand in the territory - using the perspective of theorists Michel Foucault, Gilles Deleuze and Felix Guattari - the relationship of these processes with the social negligence found by the problem of intersectional inequalities and what are its consequences for the lives of these women. The cartographic method will be used to monitor the production processes of subjectivity in weekly conversation circles, totaling ten meetings, lasting one hour and thirty minutes and with a maximum of ten participants, promoting themes related to the experience of being a woman in the Baixada Flumiense of Rio de Janeiro. The meetings will take place in the Social Assistance Reference Centers in the city of Rio de Janeiro, presencial, however, they may be held remotely, in case they are prevented by sanitary determination to prevent COVID-19, through the Meet platform, by video call. The themes proposed in the conversation circles will be constructed with the equipment of the Municipal Social Welfare Department according to the demand related to structural gender violence and intersectionality and will serve as triggering questions allowing for the discussion of what is important to the group at each meeting. It is hoped that the study will give visibility to intersectional violence and value the powers of women in the demand for public policies that reverberate in the transformation of social violence scenarios.
